Volunteer at the McMinnville Wine & Food Classic

The Principal, Kelly Cromwell, really expresses the philosophy at St. James when she says they teach to the whole child. Compassion for others is hailed in every grade. Every lost tooth is celebrated, sorrows are shared, blessings and good wishes are cherised, and learning and reading are loved.

When I think of my daughter Allison at school, I imagine all the teachers and staff linking hands with the students, like the cord of a necklace, connecting with faith, glowing like iridescent pearls, where they are all precious and beautiful.

St. James School Parents Club

Each parent is expected to contribute a set number of service hours each school year. Parents of preschool children are expected to contribute 10 hours per parent. Parents of children in kindergarten through 5th grades are expected to contribute 20 hours per parent. Parents Club Executive Board and the School Advisory Council agreed to this commitment to ensure that our major fund-raisers have adequate help and that all parents participate. The parent hours contract is part of our registration process.
